Company Licence Terms

1. The licence

A Global ICQ™ company licence grants the purchasing organisation (the “Licensee”) a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to have its eligible members take the Corporate Intercultural Intelligence Assessment and use the associated team dashboard, up to the number of seats purchased.

The licence covers the Licensee's employees and directly engaged contractors (“Eligible Members”). It does not extend to affiliates, clients, resellers, or any person outside the Licensee's organisation unless agreed in writing.

2. Company keys

Each licence includes a company key — a shared code that lets Eligible Members join the Licensee's licence and take the assessment on a company seat.

The company key is confidential. The Licensee must share it only with Eligible Members through internal channels (for example, company email or the internal intranet). The key must not be posted publicly, included in marketing materials, or shared outside the organisation.

One seat is consumed per person who redeems the key. A redeemed seat is personal to that individual and cannot be transferred to another person.

The Licensee's administrator may regenerate the company key at any time — for example, if the key is shared beyond the organisation. Regenerating immediately invalidates the previous key. Seats already redeemed are unaffected.

Global ICQ™ may suspend or rotate a key that shows signs of misuse, such as redemptions clearly outside the Licensee's organisation or volumes inconsistent with the purchased seats.

3. Individual results and privacy

Assessment results belong to the individual who took the assessment. The Licensee's team dashboard shows participation status, seat usage, and aggregate team scores — not an individual's detailed answers or section-level report, unless the individual chooses to share them.

Scores are developmental measures. They must not be used as the sole basis for hiring, termination, promotion, or other employment decisions, and the Licensee is responsible for using results in line with applicable employment and data-protection law in its jurisdiction.

Personal data collected during the assessment (name, email, and total score) is processed to deliver the assessment and reporting. Individual answers are scored in your browser and are never stored. On written request from an individual, we will delete that individual's assessment data.

4. Intellectual property

All assessment content — questions, answer keys, scoring bands, reports, and training materials — is the intellectual property of Global ICQ™. The licence does not permit copying, extracting, republishing, or creating derivative assessments from this content.

Training kit materials provided under a Company or Executive engagement may be used internally by the Licensee for the duration of the licence and may not be resold or redistributed.

5. Term, renewal, and termination

The licence runs for the period stated at purchase. Unused seats do not roll over unless agreed in writing.

Global ICQ™ may terminate the licence for material breach — including public distribution of the company key or misuse of assessment content — with the effect that unredeemed seats and the key are deactivated. Individuals keep access to their own completed results.

6. General

The assessment is a developmental instrument, provided “as is”, and is not a validated psychological or employment-selection test. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Global ICQ™'s liability under the licence is limited to the fees paid for the current licence period.
